Welcome to Tail Town

Located in the City of Pasadena, Tail Town Cats is a non-profit adoption organization that partners with Kitten Rescue of Los Angeles to find homes for adoption-ready kitties. We host 30-40 cats in our cool and comfortable lounge space.

Our mission is to help save cats from high-kill shelters, the streets, or situations of harm or neglect. We prepare our adopters for years of health, love, and success with their new furry family members, while educating the public and our community on the value of building positive relationships with animals. Since 2021 we’ve found families for over 400 wonderful cats! Read more about what we do here.

We are safe!

By barely by a whisker, Tail Town Cats is safe from the Eaton Canyon Fire that ravaged our local community.

All of our cats were safely evacuated to foster homes by volunteers immediately after the fire was identified.

Out of an abundance of caution and to mourn the immense loss within our neighborhood, we will be closed until Jan 17th. All Cat Visitor Passes and Events will be reschedule. If you had tickets booked for the past weekend, please check your email!

You can help by donating today— Financial support will help us recover in the difficult days ahead.

We are accepting and distributing pet supplies to those displaced and affected by these fires. Please visit us any day 11am-4pm to donate or pick up goods.

Volunteer deliveries and pickups by appointment are also available.

60-Minute Cat Pass

Visit the Tail Town Cat Lounge for 60 minutes of play, snuggles, and fun on your terms. $20 ticket is per person, ages 6 years and up.

Groups of 8 or more need to request a private booking. 1 adult is required for every 2 children under 12.

Last pass entry is available 1 hour prior to closing.

Monthly Membership

Can’t get enough feline fun? Our Monthly Pass allows for 60 minute visits, every day we are open for 4 weekends! Also get 10% off Tail Town merchandise and event tickets. Passes are $100 per person or $180 for a 2-person pass. Ages 6 years and up. Read more here…
