Feline Folk Art
Tail Town Cats is preparing for our next community-based art show inspired by handicrafts and traditional aesthetics from cultures around the world.
Artists explore their personal linage through the gaze of their feline muse or celebrate the artistic style of a traditional movement that brings them joy. Naturally, pieces will feature or be inspired by our favorite felines!
Purchase tickets now. Reception includes light refreshments, first dibs on artwork from the show, and playtime with 30+ cats.
Opening Reception: Saturday, April 19, 6pm
Show runs through Sunday May 25.

Deanna Lau-Ino
I am graphic designer and illustrator who has always had "art" in her heart! Drawing and crafting my whole life with dreams of an illustration career someday. Fast forward years later and after raising a family, I'm back on track. After working 10yrs for a major entertainment media company, I'm now a freelance designer and illustrator offering print, digital, web and interactive content needs. Zoe Stanek
Born in Nebraska and raised in Western Colorado, Zoe Stanek has found her place among the trees in Oregon’s Pacific Northwest. She is a writer and artist who takes inspiration from landscapes and everyday magic. She writes whimsical fairy tales about women and girls: slice of life stories of worlds just beyond our own. Her art follows suit, depicting playful scenes teeming with wonder.

Sophie is a Los Angeles-based artist and cat lover. She specializes in traditional and digital illustration, but she also enjoys dabbling in crafts such as bookbinding, papermaking, and crocheting. Her work is largely inspired by nature, animals, travel, people, culture, her own life experiences, and anything cute. She loves to use pastel colors to give her drawings a light, whimsical feel.
