Royal Catnip Court Nominations 2024

Once a year, a very special ceremony takes place and the City of Roses is known as something else… The City of Catnip!

Fur is being groomed, nails trimmed, speeches prepared—but before all of that, we must ask all of you to choose who will don the crown of the Royal Catnip Court of 2024.

Who will reign? You decide.

Tail Town is thrilled to celebrate our holiday tradition of spotlighting wonderful, adoption-ready cats who have waited a little too long for their furever homes. This playful ceremony invites our community to choose who will take the title of Royalty and act as ambassador for adoptions for the year to come.

We need you to choose the next Catnip Monarch—vote now!

The official crowning ceremony will take place inside our Tail Town Cat Adoption Lounge on Saturday Dec 14th at 2:30pm.

Book your pass today to witness history!

Earl Grey

“If I win… My dream would be to open a rage room for cats, where we can finally destroy anything and everything we want. Lampshades, antique upholstery, rugs—you name it and we’ll barf on it!”

Time at Tail Town: 7 months

Trinket

“I’m really into potlucks as a thing, casseroles, dump cakes, pasta bakes… any kind of dish bake that you can share with large crowds. More of that please!”

Time at Tail Town: 1 year

Libby

“With my winnings I’d take a long staycation where I can finally relax and work on my Animal Crossing Village. I need to get that golden fishing pole and start collecting flowers. That stinky Tom Nook keeps holding me back! ”

Time at Tail Town: 1 year

Desiree

“I’ve worked my way up from the streets, raised 4 kids in a junk yard. I’ve been through some bad break ups. Now I live in a commune with 40 other cats. Is this some kind of cult? I’m gonna take my winnings, put on my high heels, and get the heck outta here!

Watch out world, here comes Desi!”

Time at Tail Town: 11 months

Ginkgo

“First, I’ll take a year off to travel and become versed in the ways of the world. After that, I plan to study International Feline Law at Pawrvard, focus on my cat-coin start-up, and open a feline soundbath/yoga studio in Boulder, CO. You know, just to get started...”

Time at Tail Town: 9 months

Gummi Bear

“This one time, someone shared a piece of cheese with me. When I say shared, I mean they dropped it on the floor and I ate it. I think that as the best day of my life. I wish I could be a piece of cheese. That would be amazing.”

Time at Tail Town: 10 months

A word from the Catnip Queen of 2023

“It was a lonely and difficult year, but I stayed strong and held my head high through family illness and hardship. My brother and I waited 2 years for our furever home, but our dreams finally came true!

Don’t give up hope, my loves! The best thing to ever happen to you, is just around the corner. In the meantime, we are all royalty here!” - Eleven
