The Catnip Court of Tail Town

Six nominees for the Royal Catnip Court were selected to serve as ambassadors of Tail Town Cat Cafe, the Pasadena feline community, and stand available to meet and greet visitors. Selected cats featured floofiness, affection, and playfulness learned during their residence at Tail Town—although they may have had other things to say!

Nominations and induction into the Court were overseen by Chaperone Emeritus Miss Yvonne.

The Catnip Court Crowning

December 1-8: loving subjects and supporters of Tail Town were invited to vote for their most beloved nominee. The feline with the most votes was knighted into the Royal Catnip Court!

December 9: our Crowning Ceremony was performed by 5 members of the 2024 Tournament of Roses Court and their Queen! Guests witnessed as Eleven the cat was crowned the Catnip Court Queen and blessed with lots of Royal Affection. You can see a live-streamed version of the event on our Instagram Page.

Aubree: 3rd Place

The fact that I’m sitting here is the proof that it’s always worth it to be yourself. This is a message especially for the kittens: You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to chase the red dot, work hard, and always believe in yourself. I believe in all the kitties out there and will only use this title for good and love!

Winning Speech: I haven’t had an easy time of it. Many a bathroom door has been closed in my face, but I have never lost my drive to figure out what is going on in there. That’s why, wherever I go, I deliver a message of hope and endless curiosity. At the end of this journey, just know my peets are the smallest and I may have a smokey meow, but my fur is like silk.
